We make every effort to give an accurate description of the items shown however the nature and charm of handmade products is that no two are exactly the same.  Variation in colour, pattern and size are to be expected and imperfections in the finish or fabric add to the character and individuality. 

Many are made using natural vegetable dyes in particular the raffia and sisal baskets and they will fade if left in direct sunlight for long periods of time.  If you find any odd or loose fibres these can be easily trimmed with scissors.  Felt items will tend to bobble with wear and these should also be trimmed with scissors.  Scotchguard can be used on cotton items to help protect them.

The collection is primarily Fair Trade and they are made by women's co-operatives from countries such as Kenya, Madagascar, India, Nepal and Mongolia as well as the UK.  Therefore by purchasing from the Caroline Baker Collection you are helping people to maintain their craft and support themselves.
