I love baskets and unusual bags - they are so attractive and fun and can really brighten your day! Wherever I travel I always bring one home with me which is not only individual and useful but also lovely to look at. I feel your bag or basket can say a lot about you and your style and expresses your personality. It is an accessory to what you are wearing and, unlike a necklace or earrings, you see it all the time which can be very pleasing. They are also perfect for storage such as magazines, sewing, toys, loo rolls or anything you can think of.
All of the items I sell are hand made from natural materials such as raffia, sisal, cotton, wool and felt, which is very important to me and I believe the desire for eco friendly biodegradable products and the avoidance of using plastic bags is becoming more important to everyone.

Importantly I also want to encourage the appreciation and recognition of the talent, skills and creativity of the people who hand make and produce these wonderful bags and baskets. They are made by women’s co-operatives or independent individuals with the majority being Fair Trade. Some are made here in the UK and some are from Kenya, Mongolia, India and Madagascar.
I have put together a collection which I hope has something for everyone.
